The Alexandra Hotel is built on five floors and features a total of 145 guest rooms. The accommodation at this comfortable 3* hotel has been designed in bright Mediterranean colours with modern furniture and matching linen. Most of the rooms at the hotel have a balcony with views either of the town and private homes to the front of the hotel or the pool area located in the internal courtyard of the hotel.
The rooms all have modern facilities expected from a comfortable 3* accommodation and whilst most of the guest rooms can take up to a maximum of 3 persons, the hotel has a few family rooms which can take up to four beds. The family rooms are available on request basis subject to availability.

St. Julian's is now a major residential and tourist centre, and home to some of Malta's newest hotels.
It is now an extension of Sliema although it started life as a small fishing port based on Spinola and Balluta Bays. St. Julian's merges with Paceville, Malta's main nightlife centre where there are clubs, casinos and numerous restaurants, cafes and bars.
Picturesque Spinola Bay is still used by fishermen whose traditional boats are housed just below the restaurants. The bay is particularly attractive at night and as a venue for open-air dining. The elegant Spinola Palace, built in 1658 by an Italian knight, Giovanni Spinola, is the landmark historic building on the bay.

Eco Tax on Accommodation
The Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that the implementation of the Eco Tax on Accommodation will become effective on 1st April 2016 (effective date) and will be applicable for all adult guests staying in hotels and other hosted accommodation.
The tax will be €0.50 per adult per night, capped at a maximum of €5.00 per adult per stay.
The tax will be collected directly by the accommodation service provider prior to check out and remitted to Government.
The tax also applies to any accommodation that was reserved before the announcement of the Eco Tax but which will be availed of on or after the effective date. It is our understanding that any reservations that overlap the effective date will be subject to the tax for the portion of the reservation after the effective date.
