Located in the popular resort Sliema, the Palace hotel is only a short stroll from the popular seafront promenade that runs from south Sliema, along the coast and into the cosmopolitan resort of St. Julians. ADULTS ONLY HOTEL (children under the age of 15 years, are not accepted).

As expected with a deluxe 5* hotel, the Palace offers its guests a tempting array of beautifully finished and high-class restaurants. 'The Tabloid' is the hotel's main restaurant located on the ground floor level of the hotel, serving both breakfast and evening dinner in a truly modern setting. Additional A la Carte and live cooking possibilities are extremely popular at 'The Tabloid'.
The 'Talk of the Town' is the hotels chic meeting place offering a combination of fashionable dining, exquisite food and an array of fine wines. It’s the perfect place to take a coffee and watch the day go by.
In every deluxe hotel, one expects to find a specialist and spectacular restaurant. The Palace is no different, so enter The TemptAsian Lounge which can be found on the 9th floor and sample the fantastic selection of Asian and Western cuisines. From this restaurant, one has truly magnificent panoramic views of Sliema and the Grand Harbour.

Sliema is one of Malta's main coastal resort towns and a heartland for shopping, entertainment and café life. The long stretch of rocky coastline that goes from Qui-si-Sana to St. Julian's is thronged with sunbathers during the peak summer months.
Steps and handrails placed every so often allow easy access to the water. There are plenty of flat rocks to spread a towel on. The sea here is deep and generally clean, clear and safe to swim. It is also excellent for snorkelling. Some hotels along the front, especially at the St. Julian's end, provide beach concessions equipped with pools, water sports and lido areas for nightlife. The favourite beach areas are the Tigné area, Qui si-Sana, Għar id-Dud, the Exiles and Fond Għadir. Some are well-known lidos or beach clubs with public access.
In peak summer the Sliema beaches become a very sociable, lively place to be by mid-afternoon. The promenade is excellent for long, striding walks in winter, strolls on summer evenings and for watching the spectacular waves during freak autumn storms. You will find plenty of snack bars and restaurants on the coast road and kiosks near the shoreline.

Eco Tax on Accommodation
The Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that the implementation of the Eco Tax on Accommodation will become effective on 1st April 2016 (effective date) and will be applicable for all adult guests staying in hotels and other hosted accommodation.
The tax will be €0.50 per adult per night, capped at a maximum of €5.00 per adult per stay.
The tax will be collected directly by the accommodation service provider prior to check out and remitted to Government.
The tax also applies to any accommodation that was reserved before the announcement of the Eco Tax but which will be availed of on or after the effective date. It is our understanding that any reservations that overlap the effective date will be subject to the tax for the portion of the reservation after the effective date.
