Situated in a prime location at the heart of Qawra, the Santana has been built and designed to cater for clients who like to either enjoy the resort around them or to stay indoors and relax around the hotel.
Sun terraces at the hotel are open all year round and the traditional mild Mediterranean winters and springs mean that guests can enjoy the Maltese sun from the comfort of their chosen resort. Sunbeds and parasols are included on the roof at no charge to guests.
An indoor pool (closed during August) offers swimming possibilities without having to head over to the beach. A Sauna, whirlpool, massage & beauty treatment rooms add the finishing touch to the indoor centre.

This room type is ideal for a short stay or for single travelers as it is smaller than the standard room. Decorated with warm Mediterranean colours, these rooms are equipped with all the room amenities of a standard room. Economy rooms however do not have a balcony but only a window.
Executive Suites
The 2 executive suites found at Hotel Santana are located on the 7th floor of the Hotel, have distant sea views and a spacious terrace. The terraces are furnished with sun loungers, sofa, table and chairs for a more enjoyable experience. The rooms have a squarish layout and offer optimum comfort in accommodation and design.
Family Rooms
All family rooms are located at the front of the hotel. The 48 sq mtr rooms Family rooms, offer spacious accommodation, equipped with 4 full size beds, a seating area and additional storage space.
Standard Rooms
All standard rooms are twin bedded rooms with a balcony. Most of these rooms can take an additional bed and can also be used as a triple room. Similarly, to other rooms types, these rooms are freshly decorated with modern colours, for our guests to experience the Mediterranean ambience throughout their stay.

Comfort rooms offer a more spacious accommodation when compared to Standard rooms. These rooms are ideal for those looking to take their stay up to another level.

Qawra, together with neighbouring St. Paul's Bay and Bugibba are Malta's largest seaside resorts.
They offer plentiful accommodation ranging from self-catering apartments to hotel complexes and a variety of nightlife and leisure options. The coastline here has some wonderful open sea views and a vista across to St. Paul's Island, where, according to legend, the ship carrying the Apostle is said to have been wrecked. Standing prominently on the isle is a large statue of the Apostle commemorating this legendary event. The coastline promenade provides a long, though mostly level and easy walk from St. Paul's Bay to Qawra Point, with its tower and views over Salina Bay. St. Paul's Bay started life as a small fishing village.
The parish church of Qawra, dedicated to St Francis of Assisi, was designed by Maltese architect Richard England.

Eco Tax on Accommodation
The Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that the implementation of the Eco Tax on Accommodation will become effective on 1st April 2016 (effective date) and will be applicable for all adult guests staying in hotels and other hosted accommodation.
The tax will be €0.50 per adult per night, capped at a maximum of €5.00 per adult per stay.
The tax will be collected directly by the accommodation service provider prior to check out and remitted to Government.
The tax also applies to any accommodation that was reserved before the announcement of the Eco Tax but which will be availed of on or after the effective date. It is our understanding that any reservations that overlap the effective date will be subject to the tax for the portion of the reservation after the effective date.
