The Bayview Hotel is a modern, comfortable and very central choice of accommodation for the guest looking for a good standard of hotel in a popular resort.
Bayview Hotel is located on the popular Sliema promenade overlooking the harbour of Marsamxett and across to the historical buildings of Malta’s capital city Valletta. This aparthotel offers a variety of accommodation options.
This modern hotel has recently undergone a complete rebuild and refurbishment. It includes not only guest rooms but also fully equipped self-catering apartments fitted with all modern amenities. The self-catering apartments are located in the annex of the hotel approximately 50 to 100 metres from the main hotel building.
The staff at the Bayview Hotel will be happy to help make your stay in Malta special. Relax at the hotel pool or on the nearby rocky beach. Busses to all areas of Malta conveniently stop directly in the vicinity of this hotel if you wish to explore the island further.

Sliema is one of Malta's main coastal resort towns and a heartland for shopping, entertainment and café life. The long stretch of rocky coastline that goes from Qui-si-Sana all the way to St. Julian's is thronged with sunbathers during the peak summer months.
Steps and handrails placed every so often allow easy access to the water. There are plenty of flat rocks to spread a towel on. The sea here is deep, and generally clean, clear and safe to swim. It is also excellent for snorkelling. Some hotels along the front, especially at the St. Julian's end, provide beach concessions equipped with pools, water sports and lido areas for nightlife. The favourite beach areas are: the Tigné area, Qui si-Sana, Għar id-Dud, the Exiles and Fond Għadir. Some are well-known lidos or beach clubs with public access.
In peak summer the Sliema beaches become a very sociable, lively place to be by mid-afternoon. The promenade is excellent for long, striding walks in winter, slow strolls on summer evenings and for watching the spectacular waves during freak autumn storms. You will find plenty of snack bars and restaurants on the coast road and kiosks near the shoreline.

A rocky beach is located only 20 minutes from these apartments, alternatively one can take a bus to any of the popular bays in the north of the island.

Eco Tax on Accommodation
The Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that the implementation of the Eco Tax on Accommodation will become effective on 1st April 2016 (effective date) and will be applicable for all adult guests staying in hotels and other hosted accommodation.
The tax will be €0.50 per adult per night, capped at a maximum of €5.00 per adult per stay.
The tax will be collected directly by the accommodation service provider prior to check out and remitted to Government.
The tax also applies to any accommodation that was reserved before the announcement of the Eco Tax but which will be availed of on or after the effective date. It is our understanding that any reservations that overlap the effective date will be subject to the tax for the portion of the reservation after the effective date.
