The Primera Hotel which is centrally located in the northern tourist resort of Bugibba sits only 100m from the main square.
The Primera is a good choice for a comfortable Malta vacation. The resort of Bugibba which can be found on the northeastern coast is one of Malta's most popular tourist destinations. The Hotel is right on the doorstep of the lively seafront where there is always something happening during the evening. Offering a wide choice of dining, shopping and leisure activities, it is especially popular with clients who like to relax a little and enjoy the long seafront promenade which runs from St. Pauls Bay to the north of Bugibba down to the locality of Qawra to the south of Bugibba.
The Primera Hotel is perfectly located to take advantage of the life going on around this resort. The Hotel is situated only 100 metres from the main square of Bugibba where you can find a wide selection of bars and pavement restaurants or cafeterias serving everything from snacks to fine dining meals.
Transport links to all areas of Malta can be found next to the main square of Bugibba which makes the Primera Hotel also extremely handy for exploring the island. The main beaches of Malta or the rugged countryside to the west of the island are only a short bus ride from Bugibba.

Guests staying at the Primera Hotel take their 'continental buffet breakfast' each morning at the main restaurant of the hotel. Any guests choosing to book on a half-board basis will get to enjoy an extensive buffet service made up of Maltese and International dishes.

Bugibba is a large and popular tourist area and part of neighbouring resorts, stretching for 5km along St Paul’s Bay, around Qawra Point and into Salina Bay. Of the group, Bugibba, is the largest resort in the area, with good views of St Paul’s Bay and its islands. Perhaps Bugibba’s biggest attraction is the main square (Bay Square) along the seafront as it serves as the hub for the shops, bars & restaurants and has the fantastic view which can be enjoyed from many benches arranged in its centre. The square comes alive especially at night during the warmer months as the main nightlife in the area is located here. Regular music concerts are also held in the square which attracts many visitors. There is a newly created sandy beach on the shoreline of Bugibba, a popular addition and only 200 metres from the Primera Hotel. From the Quay, at the northern end of the promenade, you can take boat trips around Malta or over to the Blue Lagoon at Comino.

Eco Tax on Accommodation
The Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that the implementation of the Eco Tax on Accommodation will become effective on 1st April 2016 (effective date) and will be applicable for all adult guests staying in hotels and other hosted accommodation.
The tax will be €0.50 per adult per night, capped at a maximum of €5.00 per adult per stay.
The tax will be collected directly by the accommodation service provider prior to check out and remitted to Government.
The tax also applies to any accommodation that was reserved before the announcement of the Eco Tax but which will be availed of on or after the effective date. It is our understanding that any reservations that overlap the effective date will be subject to the tax for the portion of the reservation after the effective date.
