Information
The Sunflower is a comfortable and very popular family run 3* hotel, situated close to the twin centres of Bugibba and Qawra.
The northern resorts of Bugibba and Qawra which are located on the north east coast of the island are two of Malta's most popular tourist destinations. The resorts which are located directly next to each offer a wide variety of dining, shopping and leisure options and are especially popular with clients who like to relax and enjoy the seafront promenade which runs from St. Pauls Bay to the north, through Bugibba and down to Qawra in the south.
The Sunflower Hotel is located in a quiet residential district of Qawra but is also perfectly placed to take advantage of the busy life around these popular resorts. The hotel is only 500 metres from the main square of Bugibba where it is possible to find a large selection of bars and popular pavement restaurants/cafes serving everything from budget meals to fine dining meals.
Transport links to all areas of Malta can be found very close to the Sunflower which makes the hotel also extremely handy for exploring the island. The main beaches of Malta or the rugged countryside to the west of the island are only a short bus ride from Bugibba.

Points of Interest
Qawra, together with neighbouring St. Paul's Bay and Bugibba are Malta's largest seaside resorts.
They offer plentiful accommodation ranging from self-catering apartments to hotel complexes and a variety of nightlife and leisure options. The coastline here has some wonderful open sea views and a vista across to St. Paul's Island, where, according to legend, the ship carrying the Apostle is said to have been wrecked. Standing prominently on the isle is a large statue of the Apostle commemorating this legendary event. The coastline promenade provides a long, though mostly level and easy walk from St. Paul's Bay all the way to Qawra Point, with its tower and views over Salina Bay. St. Paul's Bay started life as a small fishing village.
The parish church of Qawra, dedicated to St Francis of Assisi, was designed by Maltese architect Richard England.
