The Paradise Bay Resort Hotel is Malta’s most northern hotel, sitting directly on the seafront and boasting panoramic sea views from all sides of the hotel.
The northern locality of Mellieha is an extremely popular destination throughout the year for the reason that the area is surrounded by both the sea and the natural Maltese countryside. This makes Mellieha a good choice during the cooler seasons of winter and spring with hill walkers and guests who like to get off the beaten track. Some of Malta's best and most popular countryside walks are to be found in the northern areas of the island.
The Paradise Bay Resort Hotel is located at the absolute northern point of Malta close to the harbour where the Gozo ferry boat travels between the two islands. The resort boasts wonderfully panoramic views from each side of the hotel with Gozo & Comino to the foreground whilst the beautifully picturesque 'Paradise Bay' can be seen to the background of the hotel. Surrounded by sea and the lovely Maltese countryside, Paradise Bay is a superb choice for all seasons.
During the warmer summer and autumn months, the Paradise Bay Resort offers the best of options to its guests. The hotels' private beach to the front of the hotel allows guests to enjoy the Mediterranean in the shadow of Comino whilst to the rear of the resort, the public bay of 'Paradise' is one of Malta's most popular beaches.

Although the Paradise Bay Resort Hotel offers guests the choice to book accommodation at the hotel with a starting option of breakfast basis, it has to be said that the hotel is located at the most northern point of Malta and therefore in an area that has no restaurants in the direct vicinity of the hotel. It is therefore recommended that guests do consider booking either half board or a portion of their stay at the hotel on half board due to this fact.
All meals at the hotel will be taken in the 'Il Merill' Restaurant. The Restaurant offers a formal dining atmosphere where meals are served on a set menu theme and made up of a variety of local and continental dishes. As an alternative to the Half board menus, the hotel also offers a selection of A la carte options to guests of the hotel.
The 'Island’s Edge' Bistro is open daily and serves throughout the day a selection of easy dining options including a variety of snacks, burgers, pizza, pasta and grills.

The Hotel boasts of four seawater swimming pools, the main pool is large and fish-shaped and it also includes a shallow paddling pool for small children. The pools have extensive sun terraces with free sunbeds and umbrellas.
Hotel Beach
The Hotel's very own sandy beach overlooks the islands of Gozo and Comino with the famous Blue Lagoon being an easy 10-minute boat ride away. Water Sports and the Paradise Bay Diving School are also located at the Beach.

Mellieha was once an isolated 15th-century hamlet perched on the ridge overlooking Ghadira Bay. Re-inhabited in the early 18th century, it has since developed into a flourishing town though it retains a quaint historic centre with narrow streets and stepped alleys. From the terrace of the Parish Church, there is a panoramic view over Mellieha Bay and the surrounding countryside. Mellieha today is a modern town noted for its large private villas and houses which have been built on land overlooking the bay. While the town has developed into a resort, it has managed to retain some of its rural characters.

The location of the Paradise Bay Resort Hotel in relation to the northern beaches of Malta makes this hotel a perfect choice for a summer vacation. Apart from the private beach located directly next to the resort, the popular beaches of Ghadira Bay, Paradise Bay and Armier Bay are all within reach of the hotel. The famous 'Blue Lagoon' which is located at Comino is a short boat ride from the Paradise Bay hotel, guests can enjoy a speedboat ride from the ferry terminal located directly in the vicinity of the hotel. Transport links to most areas of the island can be found only 200 metres from the hotel making the Paradise Bay accessible to most other towns and villages in Malta.

Renovations of the Lobby and the Bar Area
In an effort to continually improve the overall standards of the Hotel, the Hotel will be conducting works in the lobby and bar area.

Eco Tax on Accommodation
The Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that the implementation of the Eco Tax on Accommodation will become effective on 1st April 2016 (effective date) and will be applicable for all adult guests staying in hotels and other hosted accommodation.
The tax will be €0.50 per adult per night, capped at a maximum of €5.00 per adult per stay.
The tax will be collected directly by the accommodation service provider prior to check out and remitted to Government.
The tax also applies to any accommodation that was reserved before the announcement of the Eco Tax but which will be availed of on or after the effective date. It is our understanding that any reservations that overlap the effective date will be subject to the tax for the portion of the reservation after the effective date.

Renovations of Indoor Pool
The indoor pool shall be closed to all guests from Monday 14th September 2015 until Saturday 31st October 2015, both dates included.
Works being carried out shall consist of:

Dismantling and replacement of roof Perspex

Painting of beams and walls

Replacing of current lighting

Change of flooring and installation of new drains

Installing of a dehumidifier system to reduce glass condensation
Works would be carried out from 07:30 hrs till 16:00 hrs
It is expected that the only noise affecting guests may come from the removal of the current flooring around the pool, for which jiggers will be in use for a maximum of up to four working days.
