The twenty-four luxury ensuite rooms at Murella Living are individually designed. Their commonalities are parquet of real wood, furnishings made of solid wood, and artisanal renditions of Gozo’s classical sights and traditional motifs – there creations are splayed across one of the walls in each room, and either take the form of murals that portray some of Gozo’s quintessential sights or panels of woodwork or wood-carvings that depict traditional elements of Gozo in stylised form (examples: bunch of tomatoes, representations of the salt pans cross-section of beehive, prickly-pear branches, and so on). These creations are rendered in colours that are part of the unique colour scheme of each room, creating coherent design concepts that extend to the colours of the walls and floor inside the bathrooms. The overall effect is completed by designer accessories such as modern voluptuous lamps, elegant lampshades, opulent carpets, and standalone furnishings such as curvaceous chair lounges. The bathrooms feature designer sinks, top-quality chrome fittings, and walls and floors that are a mixture of tiling in the shower and cementitious finish – an artisanal cementitious and resinous render that’s suffused with pastel colours that match the overall colour scheme of each room.

The rooms have all-round amenities: flat-screen TV, mini fridge, coffee-making facilities, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, radio, toiletries and air-conditioning. No safe is to be found in the rooms but is available at reception. Mattresses are ergonomic, super-comfy and are made of three layers – a top layer of memory foam, a bottom layer of high-density water-based support foam, and a protection layer that promotes air circulation. The firmness of the mattresses is adjustable – guests can choose their preferred firmness, opting for soft or medium-firm or firm – ensuring a good night’s rest and relief from physical soreness, especially back problems. Cots can also be had on request (children under 5 years old can share the double rooms with their parents free of charge). Most of the rooms are kitted with double beds, but there are also a variety of other rooms – three family rooms, a room equipped for the physically challenged and a twin room.

A continental breakfast is available daily in the breakfast area or the outside terrace.
